Trimmed Berets This hat measures 10 inches across the top circle. and drapes off to the side or back. Berets with Braided Bands have limited stretch, but there is a small piece of elastic in the back of the band that lets it stretch a bit. I cut most of these in one size, medium, which seems to fit most heads. These are a little tougher to fit than most of my hats. I buy all my materials in fairly small lots. My braids are constantly changing. Sometimes I have braid for quite some time while others go fast. If you see a braid you like I may have more that can be made up on another color hat if you desire.
